American Pavilion: The 12th International Architecture Exhibition
Venice Biennale, Venice, Italy- Exhibition Design// Information Graphics
Contributed to the exhibition design for the American Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, which presented a speculative self-sufficient skyscraper operating within a steady-state urban system.
The project explores closed-loop relationships between water, energy, and waste, proposing an architectural model where resources are continuously recycled within a circular urban infrastructure.
My role focused on translating these complex sustainability systems into a clear visual and spatial language. The building’s façade functioned as an informational surface, integrating data visualization directly into architectural form to communicate system behavior in real time.
Supporting large-format foam-core panels extended these narratives into the exhibition space, mapping ecological and infrastructural cycles through diagrammatic graphics and structured visual hierarchies.
The installation connects architectural form with data-driven storytelling, enabling visitors to understand the interdependence between building systems and broader urban ecologies.
Role: Exhibition graphics, information design, data visualization
Tools: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
